Alicia Dale Widner, 38, of Houston formerly of Friona passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012 in Houston, Texas. Alicia was born August 12, 1974 in Amarillo, Texas to Dale and Louise Widner. Alicia graduated from Friona High School in 1992. She played basketball, where in 1992 she was named to the All-Tournament team at the Caprock Holiday Tournament during the Christmas Holidays and was also named MVP. She also participated in track. After graduation she went on and attended and graduated from Texas Tech with her degree in Physical Therapy. She has resided in the Houston area for several years. She is survived by her father Kenneth Dale Widner of Friona and one sister, Jaton Magness and her husband Glenn of Longview; one niece Courtney DeLaRosa and husband Ben and one nephew Landon Jake Magness. She is preceded in death by her mother, Louise Widner.
