Amber Lynn DeLeon, 28 of Bovina passed away July 11, 2024 in Bovina. Viewing will held Sunday July 14, 2024 with prayer services at 6:00PM in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Celebration of Life Services scheduled for 10:00AM Monday July 15, 2024 at the Crossroads Community Church of Bovina with Pastor Larry Mitchell, officiating. Burial following in the Bovina Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Amber was born July 27, 1995 in Clovis, New Mexico. She was a 2013 graduate of Friona High School.  She had been a restaurant waitress, and more recently a paraprofessional with the Friona I.S.D.  She loved the color green, to cook and bake, doing hair, nails and cosmetics for herself and others, and music especially listening to her favorite artist Juice WRLD.

Amber is preceded in death by her Uncle Homie Eloy Flores.

Those to mourn her passing include her mother-Sylvia DeLeon of Bovina, 2 sisters-Daniela Rodriguez of Bovina, and Angelica Lyhne Vazquez and husband Serafin of Friona, grandmother-Elodia H. Flores of Bovina, grandfather-Jose Flores of San Juan, Texas, 2 aunts-Maria Flores of Friona, and Patricia Gallagher of Clovis, 11 cousins, and 5 nieces and nephews.
