Anna Margareta Corn, 81 of Canyon, formerly of Bovina, died Sunday March 25, 2012 in Canyon. Memorial Services have been scheduled for 2P.M. Wed. March 28, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church of Canyon with Rev. Calvin Harfst, pastor, officiating. Arrangements by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona. Mrs. Corn was born May 26, 1930 in Asch, Czechoslovakia. She married Charles Corn December 23, 1954 in New Mexico. She was a longtime area teacher , librarian and teaching consultant for Region 16. She is preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include: 1 Son-Edward W. Corn and wife Gwen of Farwell, 2 Daughters-Doris Anne Grissom and husband Don of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Heidi Jane Taylor and husband James of Canyon, 5 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren.
