Anthony Ramón 61 of Bovina passed away November 27, 2021 in Friona. Celebration of Life Services have been scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Bovina United Methodist Church in Bovina with Rev. Larry Mitchell, officiating. Burial following in the Bovina Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Anthony was born November 29, 1959 in Littlefield to Catarino and Irene Pena Ramón. He later married Judy Chavez October 20, 2001

He was a self employed truck driver for over 30 years, owning Anthony Ramón Trucking in Bovina. When he wasn't officially working, he was taking care of his big red truck. But, he also loved to hang out with grandchildren and family and cook out, cheat at board games and watch the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed travelling, especially to the casinos to gamble. Anthony was a much loved part of his community.

Preceding him in death is his brother Jesse Ramón.

Those to carry on his legacy include his parents Catarino and Irene Ramón of Bovina, wife-Judy Ramón of Bovina, 3 daughters-Beth Borquez-Smith and husband Mitch of Austin, Roberta Borquez and Paulene Torres and husband Joe, all of Amarillo, 2 brothers-Ralph Ramón of Weslaco, and Mickey Ramón of Bovina, 2 sisters-Annette Ramón, and Miroslava Ramón both of Amarillo, 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
