Cecelia Stehr Schueler, 80, of Rhea, TX. died on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 in Friona, TX. Viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Thursday, April 7, 2022 with family visitation from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of HANSARD FAMILY with Celebration of Life Services scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, April 8, 2022 in the chapel with Jeff Procter officiating. Burial following in the Rhea Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Cecelia was born May 14, 1941 in Granite, OK to Julius and Olive Stehr. She married Herbert Schueler at the Lutheran Church in Hereford, TX on July 25, 1958. Herbert and Cecelia made their home in the Rhea Community where Herbert was a farmer and Cecelia was a homemaker. Family and serving her Savior were priority to Cecelia whether it was cooking, singing in the choir, making braille bibles, teaching Sunday school or VBS. Cecelia loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. In her later years, she loved to work word puzzles and read books.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Olive Stehr, and her husband Herbert.

She is survived by a sister Louise Davenport of Grapeland, TX , a twin brother Cecil Stehr of McAllen, TX, 5 children: Glen Schueler of Rhea, TX, Mike and wife Amy Schueler of Hereford, TX, Carrie and husband Jeff Landrum of Amarillo, TX, Jo and husband Robert Osborn of Friona, TX and Jeff and wife Heather Schueler of Abernathy, TX, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law Martha Schueler of Allen, TX.
