Charles Clifton Rodgers 78 of Friona died Monday December 2, 2013 in Friona. Graveside services have been scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday December 7, 2013 at the Friona Cemetery with Dr. Jeff Dickson, officiating. Burial following by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona. Mr. Rogers was born October 8, 1935 in San Saba, Texas to Charles Jay and Ollie B. Petty Rodgers. He was a farmer, well driller, and cleaning service owner. He loved fishing, reading Louis Lamour books, dancing and watching football. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include-2 daughters-Janet Calaway of Las Vegas, NV., and Diane Henson of Houston, 3 brothers-Bobby Rodgers of Friona, Darves Rodgers of Phoenix, AZ., Gary Rodgers of Ft Worth, 2 sisters-Joyce Dickson of Friona, Sue Ishberg of Friona, 9 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
