Christeene Mann, 91 of Friona passed away January 11, 2023 in Friona. Viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM with family visitation from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, January 13, 2023 in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of HANSARD FAMILY with Celebration of Life Services set for 2:00 PM Saturday January 14, 2023 in the Union Congregational Church of Friona with Jeff Procter, officiating. Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Christeene was born July 9, 1931 in Mobeetie, Texas to Thomas Edward and Bertha Alice Dean Hurst.  She later married Bobby Joe Mann February 7, 1948 in Clovis.

Christeene was a very hard worker as a rural route mail carrier, Stanley Products Representative, and longtime employee of Holly Sugar. She was a member of the VFW, Friona Fire Department and American Legion Women's Auxiliaries, and Federated Order of Eagles, a leader for both Friona Boy and Girl Scouts, and was past Membership Chairperson for the Friona Credit Union. She was a homemaker that loved to cook and sew.

Those preceding her in death include her parents Thomas and Bertha, 1 brother-Leo Hurst, and 1 sister-May Green.

Those to carry on her legacy include her husband Bobby Joe Mann of Friona, 1 son-Joe Bob Mann and wife Dale of Friona, 2 daughters-Carla Scott and husband Mike of Friona and Joy Bauer and husband Dwayne of Halltown, Missouri, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
