Cody Rex Bracken, 46 of Friona died November 27, 2017 in Friona. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M.  Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Sixth Street Church of Christ in Friona with Jeff Procter, pastor, officiating.  Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona.

Cody was born  February 20, 1971 in Friona to Rex and Darla Perkins Bracken.  Cody grew up in Friona, attended school where he excelled in track, football and woodworking.  He graduated with the Friona High School Class of 1989.   Following graduation, he began working for Hi-Pro Feeds and continued in various positions for 28 years, finally as Supervisor of Bagging and Loading. His world revolved around his two daughters, Lexie and Laura Bracken. Spending most of his time supporting and loving them.

Cody became a Christian on July 7, 2003 and was a member of the Tenth Street Church of Christ.

Cody is survived by two daughters- Lexie Bracken and Laura Bracken both of Canyon, parents- Rex and Darla Bracken of Friona, sister- Julie Davidson and husband Stuart of Seminole, Texas, grandmother-Marie Perkins of Friona and three nephews Morgan, Riley and Jordan Davidson plus a community of family and friends who loved him.

A memorial fund has also been established for Cody's daughters, Lexie and Laura Bracken, at the Friona Banking Center, 710 W 11th Friona, TX  79035. The family also suggests memorial donations to your favorite charity.

THERE WILL BE A FAMILY VISITATION THURSDAY EVENING FROM 6:30P.M. TO 8 :00 P.M. AT THE FUNERAL HOME
