Dickey Lee Garner, 66 of Friona and Bovina passed away July 10, 2021 in Friona. Viewing will be held Monday, July 12, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home in Friona with a Celebration of Life Graveside Service scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 12, 2021 in the Bovina Cemetery in Bovina with Rev. Larry Mitchell, officiating. Burial following in the Bovina Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home in Friona.

Dickey was born August 10, 1954 in Plainview to Wendell Horace and Martha Marie Blevins Garner. He was a farmer and hat salesman. He loved watching sports of all kinds on TV including rodeos, but his favorite sport was football.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and 1 granddaughter-Sunny Leger.

Those mourning his passing include 1 son-Richard Garner of Oklahoma, 1 daughter-Wendy Zimmerman of Oklahoma, 2 sister- Donna Mitchell and husband Larry of Bovina, and Susan Copeland and husband Bob of Garland, and 5 grandchildren.
