Donny Ray Campbell, 67 of Amarillo, formerly of Friona passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 in Amarillo. Celebration of Life Chapel Services set for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 3, 2021 in the Friona Cemetery Memorial Chapel with Rev. Brett Hoyle, officiating. Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Donny was born February 13, 1954 to Ray and Vernell Campbell in Friona.  He graduated from Friona High School in 1972. He was on the Friona Volunteer Fire Department, the Friona Police Department, and was an electrician at Campbell Electric. He later moved to Borger Texas as a police officer. Donny later retired from the police department and started his own electrical contracting business in Borger.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother-in-law David Bruce Harper, niece Sarah Campbell, and nephew Dustin Campbell.

Donny is survived by his wife Lucinda "Lucy" Campbell of Amarillo, 1 son- Michael Campbell and wife Elizabeth of Amherst, 1 daughter- Rebecca Weede and husband Matt of Florida, 1 brother- Danny Campbell and wife Holly of Friona, 1 sister- Donna Harper of Amarillo, 5 grandchildren, 1 niece and 2 nephews.
