Douglas Cecil "Boomer" Daniels, 77 of Friona passed away on August 4, 2021 in Friona, TX. Viewing will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Hansard Family Funeral Home in Friona with Cremation services to follow. Memorial Service scheduled for 11:00 AM Monday, August 9, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Friona with Rev. Brett Hoyle and Rev. Dale Moreland officiating. Douglas was born November 28, 1943 in Shattuck, OK to Cecil Douglas and June Agee. "Boomer" married the love of his life, Diann Bonsal on August 9, 1975 in Clayton, NM. He served in the Air Force from 1963-1967. He worked in maintenance for many years. He loved spending time with grandkids, computers, BBQ's , trips to Branson, and watching Oklahoma Sooners football.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Cecil and Mary Daniels, June Agee, aunt and uncle who raised him - Geoffrey and Bess Gibbs, 3 brothers - Jerry, Thomas Ray, and Gene.

Those mourning his passing include his wife - Diann Daniels and son Jason Daniels and wife Shanna of Friona, TX grandchildren - Reagan, Jameson and Owen, sister - Cecilia Pitts of Oklahoma City, and also survived by David Daniels and Family, and Michael Daniels and family.
