Edna Ruth Miller, 97, of Friona, TX  passed away on  Tuesday August 3, 2021. Viewing will be held on Friday August 6, 2021 at Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel in  Friona, TX from 9 am to 8 pm. Family Visitation will be from 5 - 7 PM on Friday August 6, 2021. Graveside services will be on Saturday August 7, 2021 at the Friona Cemetery with Gary Johnson Officiating.  Arrangements  by Hansard Family Funeral Home of Friona, TX.

Ruth was born in Westover, TX to James Lemuel Taylor and Lue Vennie Cooper on February 18, 1924. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and sister. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, crafts, fishing and camping. She married Roy Miller on June 11, 1957 in Las Vegas. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Edna was a very loving mother.

Preceded in death by her husband Roy Miller 2 daughters Kathy Vene Coker and Janice K. Miller, 1- son Gary Lynn Coker along with 3 sisters  Quinne Burkett, Maggie Long, and Peggy Sue Howard, 3 - brothers James Taylor, Ruben Taylor and Duward Taylor.

She is survived by  4 sons and 2 daughters.  Roy Max Miller and wife Brenda of Bridgeport, TX, Danny Miller of Kerrville, TX, Eddie Miller and wife Debbie of Lazbuddie, TX, Roy Don Coker and wife April of Lazbuddie, TX, Carol Ann Taylor of Irving, TX and Diane Reeve of Cotton Center, TX. Daugher-in- law Johnnie Beth Coker  15- grandchildren, 20-great-grandchildren and 2- great- great  grandchildren, 1 Sister Joyce Marie Jones of Clovis New Mexico.

Family suggests memorials be made to Blue Bonnet Home Health and Hospice, Prairie Acres Nursing Home, or Calvary Baptist Church.
