Eric V. Rushing, 74 of Friona passed away June 13, 2020 in Friona. Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at New Life Restoration Center in Hereford with Pastor Dorman Duggan, officiating. Arrangements by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Eric was born December 4, 1945 in Clovis, N.M. to Eric Marion and Ruth Sachs Rushing. He is a veteran of the US. Navy, held a Bachelors in Finance Degree from Texas Tech University, married Linda Grabbe July 25, 1972, and was an area farmer for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother-William (Billy) Rushing.

Those to carry on his legacy include his wife Linda Rushing of Friona, 2 sons- Marion Rushing and wife Mindy and Michael Rushing and wife Leigh Anne, all of Friona, 1 daughter Rebecca Pendergrass and husband Tim of Lubbock, 1 brother-George Rushing and wife Leslie of Friona, 2 sisters-Janet Phipps and husband Lynn of Muskogee, OK., and Jane Rushing of Houston,10 grandchildren-Josh, Madeline, David , Luke, Dylan, Leigha, Ethan, Nate, Audrey, and Katie.
