Erlinda Valerio 60 of Petersburg, Texas formerly of Friona passed away October 13, 2019 in Lubbock. Celebration of Life Services will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday, October 18, 2019 in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona with Rev. Jason Daniels, officiating. Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Erlinda was born June 23, 1959 in Dimmitt, Texas to Joe and Francis Medina Saiz. She later married Pedro Valerio Jr. October 5, 2005.

Erlinda was known as a very caring and giving person that loved to play with her grandchildren and have fun.

She is preceded in death by 2 brothers Robert Saiz and Frank Saiz.

Those to carry on her legacy include her husband Pete of Petersburg, her parents Joe and Francis Saiz of Friona, 1 daughter-Angelic Montes and husband Jesus of Petersburg, 1 step daughter-Cindy Valerio of Lubbock, 1 son- Gilde Flores and wife Valerie of Lubbock, 1 step-son- Michael Valerio of Lubbock, 5 brothers-Daniel Saiz and wife Jovita of Oklahoma, Nick Saiz and wife Cheri of Kingsland, Gilbert Saiz of Amarillo, Jesse Saiz of Amarillo, George Saiz and wife Agnus of Kingsland, 3 sisters-Francis Saiz of Friona, Cecelia Steelman of Clovis and Connie Northcut of Carrizozo, N.M., 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
