Erma LaMuriel Stowers, 89 of Hereford, formerly of Bovina died Monday April 9, 2012 in Hereford. Graveside Services have been scheduled for 2:00P.M. Wednesday April 11, 2012 in the Friona Cemetery with Leon Talley of Friona, officiating. Burial following by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona. Mrs. Stowers was born March 13, 1923 in Faxon, Oklahoma to Charles Lester and Roma Vista Hale Rury. She married Jesse Cleveland Stowers May 7, 1942 in Clovis. She was a homemaker and a member of The Church Of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband 3 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include: 3 Sons-Jimmy Don Stowers and wife Janet of Hereford, Bobby Leroy Stowers of Hereford and Roy Lee Stowers and wife Dorothy of Bovina, 1 daughter-Nina Jean "Sissy" Shanabarger and husband Steve of Dickinson, ND, 1 brother Jimmy Rury of San Diego, California, 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
