Eufemio De La Cruz , 93 of Bovina passed away December 28, 2019 in Lubbock. Viewing will be from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. Thursday, January 2, 2020 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bovina, with Rosary Services that evening at 6;00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial Services set for 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 3, 2020 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bovina, Father Gregory Bunyan as Celebrant. Burial following in the Bovina Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Mr. De La Cruz was born in Cicacalco , Zacatcas , Mexico November 12, 1926 to Caterino and Panfila Ramirez De La Cruz.  He later married Emma Delia Zepeda. He was in the construction business for many years, a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bovina and loved to tend to his animals.

He is preceded in death by his wife Emma Delia Zepeda De La Cruz , 4 sons- Pancho , Cande , Modesto, and Joaquin De La Cruz, 2 daughters-Maria and Rosario De La Cruz . 1 sister and 1 brother.

Those to carry on his legacy include:  6 sons- Eleazar, Victor, Gerardo and Abel De La Cruz all of Bovina and Jose and Ramon De La Cruz of Mexico, 4 daughters-Irma and Socorro De La Cruz of Mexico, and Luisa and Carmen De La Cruz of Bovina, 1 brother-Pedro De La Cruz , 1 sister-Sara De La Cruz both of Mexico.

47 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
