Eva Aline Turner went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 14, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 18, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Friona, with Reverend Brett Hoyle, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Friona Cemetery by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona, Texas. Eva was born on October 16, 1920 in Floris, Oklahoma to James Roy and Ina B. Harryman Coker. She married Billy Wade Turner on July 18, 1942 in Clovis. She enjoyed sewing and was talented in making clothes from her own patterns and dolls. She and her husband, Bill, worked as dental technicians and enjoyed this in their later years. Eva loved the Lord and served as secretary of her Sunday School Class for many years. She leaves behind a legacy of love for her family, children, and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 5 brothers, Wesley Coker, Bob Coker, Floyd Coker, Cecil Coker and Paul Coker, and 2 grandsons, Loren Drew Blake and Billy Lawrence Blake. Survivors: 2 daughters: Becky Hardcastle and husband, Gary of Wheeler, TX Karen Blake of Waco, TX 3 grandchildren - Mindy Brashears and husband Todd of Lubbock, Marcus Hardcastle and wife Heather of Wheeler, Kristi DeCluitt and husband Chris of Waco 9 great-grandchildren - Bailey Brashears, Reagan Brashears, Presley Brashears, Justin Hardcastle, Houston Hardcastle, Sierra Hardcastle, Katheryn Blake, Eva DeCluitt, Blake DeCluitt.
