Gracie Bautista Caballero, 51 of Lubbock, formerly of Friona passed away December 18, 2018 in Lubbock. Celebration of Life Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Friona Cemetery Memorial Chapel in Friona with Rev. Brian Mullins, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Bovina, officiating. Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Gracie was born March 4, 1967 in Dimmitt to Juan Reyna and Maria Francisca Saldana Bautista. She has been a Certified Nurse's Assistant for 20 years. Her passion was caregiving, first to her family, then many others. Gracie is known for her love for  family and living life to its fullest. Her kind heart and positive outlook will be missed.

She is preceded in death by her mother.

Those to carry on her legacy include her father Juan Bautista Sr. of Farwell, husband-Hugo Caballero of El Paso, 1 daughter-Nakita Khamsomphou and husband Bryan Moreno of Lubbock, 1 son-Sammy Khamsomphou of Salinas, California, 5 brothers- Juan Bautista Jr. of Farmersville, Texas, Pedro Bautista of Amarillo, Hilario Bautista of Los Fresnos, Texas, Francisco Bautista of Farwell, and Juan Chris Bautista of Lubbock, 3 sisters-Maria Del Rosario Chavez of Tucumcari, N.M., Maria Elena Chavez of Amarillo, Anabelia Trevino of Muleshoe, and 6 grandchildren.
