Graciela was born march 1, 1936 in Mexico to Egnacio and Carolina Aceves Salas Vargas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and 3 brothers-Sergio, Carlos and Armando Vargas.

Those to carry on her legacy include: her husband Jose Grado of Friona, 4 daughters Martha Moreno of Friona, Laura Apodaca, Guadalupe Gallegos and Graciela Grado, all of El Paso, 2 sons-Jose D. Grado of Friona and Jorge Vargas of Reno, Nevada, 20 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
