Guadalupe Reyes Sr. 75 of Friona passed away Thursday June 14, 2018 in Amarillo. Rosary Services have been scheduled for 7:00 P.M. Friday, June 15, 2018 at St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Friona with Mass of Christian Burial Services scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Friona with Father Nestor Lara as Celebrant. Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Guadalupe was born January 28, 1943 in Mexico to Roberto and Blaza Marquez Reyes. He later married Socorro Molina November 26, 1966.

He was a 20 year employee of Cargill Meat Solutions and prior owners of the Friona meat packing plant. He loved to spend time with his family, and dance. He was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Friona.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister-Cornelia Montaňo.

Those to carry on his legacy include his wife Socorro Reyes of Friona, 1 daughter-Rosa Roman of Friona, 3 sons-Guadalupe Reyes Jr. of Hereford, Francisco Reyes and Oscar Reyes of Friona, 1 brother-Adolfo Reyes of Amarillo, 5 sisters-Isabel Quezada and Carolina Franco of Roswell, N.M., Margarita Espinoza of San Antonio, Maria Claudio of Hereford and Maria Lopez of Friona, 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
