Harold Stanberry, 70 of Bovina died June 12, 2017 in Melrose, N.M. Graveside Services will be held 10:30 A.M. CDT Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Bovina Cemetery with Rev. Sherman Martin, pastor the House First Baptist Church of House, N.M., officiating. Burial following in the Bovina Cemetery by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona.

Harold was born February 7, 1947 in Danville, Arkansas to Thogal Denton and Bonnie Mae McCormick Stanberry. He was a longtime area farmer, chemical mixer for an area crop spraying service, loved to tinker with anything mechanical and play pool.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers-Buford Stanberry and Cloys Wayne Stanberry.

Survivors include 2 daughters-Tina Dial and husband Lance of Melrose, and Twyla Smith and husband Byron of Jacksonville, Arkansas, 2 brothers-Danny Stanberry of Clarksville, Texas and Loy Dean Stanberry of Bovina, 1 sister-Brenda McNeely and husband Reggie of Axle, Texas, 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
