Hazel Britt, 83 of Friona died Thursday January 30, 2014 in Amarillo. Celebration of Life Services have been scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday February 8, 2014 at Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home in Friona with Rev. Perry Hunsaker, Minister of Congregation Care at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Amarillo, officiating. Family visitation afterwards at 1005 West 6th in Friona. Arrangements by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona. Hazel was born July 15, 1930 in Joy, Texas to Elvis Valentine and Annie Laura Laughon Hargrove. She married Frank Eugene Britt June 11, 1953 in Clovis, New Mexico. She was a longtime caregiver and member of the United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and 1 brother Lee Roy Hargrove. She is survived by: 2 daughters-Vicki Hacker and husband Mike of Amarillo and Missy Britt of Amarillo, and 1 grandchild Hayden Hacker of Amarillo. Memorials may be given to a favorite charity.
