Ignacia Reyes Bermea, 71 of Bovina passed away April 21, 2025 in Amarillo. Viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Friday April 25, 2025 in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Celebration of Life Services set for 10:00 AM Saturday April 26, 2025 at Crossroads Community Church of Bovina with Eleazar Lara, officiating. Burial following in the Bovina Cemetery entrusted to HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Ignacia was born July 31, 1953, in Progreso, Texas to Constantino and Juana Maria Arias Reyes.  She later married Macario Bermea on August 18, 1970. Ignacia was known as a very strong, happy and giving woman that loved to help people. Her faith in God got her through many hard times and loved to listen to Christian music. She was kind and inviting to everyone and loved to help those in need. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, especially for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Preceding her in death were her parents-Constantino and Juana, 1 son-Mike Bermea and 2 grandchildren-Olivia Castillo and Justin Angel Salazar.

Those to mourn her passing include her husband-Macario Bermea of Dimmitt, 2 daughters-Hilaria Bermea of Farwell, and Tina Espinoza and husband Angel of Friona, 2 sons-David Bermea and wife Carla of Clovis, and Raul Bermea and wife Lupita of Clinton, Oklahoma, sisters-Irma Turley, Isabel Espinoza, Maria Reyes, Anita Reyes, Eliza Espinoza, Gloria Reyes, Juanita Carrizales and Raquel Reyes, brothers-Jose Angel Reyes, Rosendo Reyes, Juan Reyes, Constantino Reyes Jr., and Ray Reyes, 18 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren.
