Irene Perez, 64 of Bovina passed away September 13, 2020 in Amarillo. Viewing will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. with Rosary Services set for 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 15, 2020 in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of HANSARD FAMILY with Mass of Christian Burial Services scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Friona with Father Gregory Bunyan as Celebrant. Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Irene was born September 26, 1955 in San Angelo, Texas to Pablo and Genoveva Conanstancia Perez. Later in her life she married Adam Perez.

Irene was known as an extremely strong person that loved her siblings, husband, children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother-Alvino Perez.

Those to carry on her legacy include her husband Adam of Bovina, 3 daughters-Melissa Hernandez and husband Eddy of Friona, Monica Walker and husband Justin of Amarillo, and Katarina Guevara and husband Joshua of Friona, 1 son- Adan Perez and wife Sally of Amarillo, 3 brothers- Pablo Perez of Spearman, Willie Perez and wife Georgia of Amarillo, and Benny Perez of San Angelo, 4 sisters-Sally Zapata and husband Gilbert of San Angelo, Emma Davila and husband David of Friona, Nelia Garza of San Angelo and Jenny Perez of Ottumwa, Iowa, 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
