Jean Baize, 93 of Friona died Thursday October 8, 2015 in Friona. Graveside Services have been scheduled for 1:00P.M. Saturday October 10, 2015 at the Friona Cemetery with Jeff Procter, Minister of the Sixth St. Church of Christ in Friona, officiating. . Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona. Jean was born August 16, 1922 in Gatesville, Texas to Henry and Paralee Webb Clark. She married Selwyn Duane Baize October 8. 1945. They owned and operated several restaurants in Friona for many years, and she cooked at the Friona hospital. She loved fishing, camping and playing golf. She was a member of The Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 11 siblings, a grandson Drew Elmo Baize and a daughter-in-law Joan Baize. Survivors include 4 sons-S.D. Baize of Flower Mound, Danny Baize and wife Connie of Roscoe, Randy Baize, and Robin Baize and wife Jennifer of Friona, 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
