Viewing will be held beginning at 1200PM Friday December 12, 2025 at Templo Bautista Church in Friona with Celebration of Life Services set for 11:00 AM Saturday, December 13, 2025 also at Templo Bautista Church with Celestino Rangel, officiating. Burial following the Friona Cemetery entrusted to HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Jesus was born November 20, 1952 in Apaseo, Nieves Zacatecas, Mexico to Inez and Ester Adame Chairez. He later married Francisca Vargus December 23, 1968. He was an employee for Cargill Meat Solutions for an amazing 37 years, then became an area farmer and cattleman. He loved farming, livestock and John Deere tractors. He was an active member of Templo Bautista in Friona where he was also a deacon. He enjoyed being with his family and playing guitar.

Jesus is preceded in death by his parents, Inez and Ester Chairez, 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

Those to mourn his passing include his wife Francisca Chairez of Friona, 2 sons-Gerardo Chairez and wife Catheryn of Austin, and Robert Chairez and wife Gracie of Lubbock, 2 daughters-Adriana Pfund and husband Shaun of Tucson, Arizona, and Linda Vega and husband Lupe of Austin, 1 sister-Graciela Rodriguez and husband Isabel of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and 7 grandchildren.
