Jesus Gonzalez, 60 of Dickinson, formerly of Friona passed away May 15, 2025 in Dickinson. Viewing will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM with prayer services at 6:00 PM in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. Cremation and arrangements are entrusted to HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Jesus was born December 30, 1964, in Hereford, Texas to Reynaldo and Francisca Alvarado Gonzalez.  Jesus was a gourmet chef and enjoyed cooking very much. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, OSU, and of course, the Friona Chieftains.  He had much love for his family, all animals, especially his cats, and Classic rock music.

Jesus is preceded in death by his father-Reynaldo Gonzalez and by a sister-Rachel Gonzalez.

Those to mourn his passings include his mother-Frances Gonzalez of Friona, 3 sisters-Minda Doyle Gonzalez and husband Matthew of Rio Rancho, N.M., Carolyn Maurer and Paul Garza and Leola Gonzalez and Marisol Avalos, all of Friona, nieces- Frances Burch and husband Ian of Albuquerque, Sophia Doyle of Rio Rancho, Isabella Doyle of Boulder, CO., Monica Ray and husband Jessie of Fayetteville AR., and Cierra Ellies and husband Eric of Comanche, Texas, and nephews-David Doyle of Denver, CO., Jimmy Baskin and wife Alexandria of Cabbot, AR., Issac Summerlin of Lubbock, and Francisco Summerlin of Portugal.
