Jesus "Jesse" Morales Sr., 93 of Friona passed away November 17, 2019 in Amarillo.

Celebration of Life Graveside Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the Friona Cemetery with Rev. Brett Hoyle, officiating. Burial with military honors following by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona and Volleys for Veterans of Amarillo.

Jesse was born September 23, 1926 in Glidden, Texas to Conception and Rosalia Maldonado Morales. He later married Janie Garza and they were married an amazing 70 years.

Jesse was a military policeman in the U.S. Army, and a clothes presser and cleaner for Gibbs Cleaners for 19 years. He loved his family, drinking coffee with them and friends, and watching sports of all kinds.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons-Daniel Morales and David Morales, 4 brothers Albert, Conchito, Morris and Jimmy Morales, 2 sisters-Betty Torres and M ary Guerrero,

Those to carry on his legacy include his wife Janie of Friona, 2 daughters-Terry Morales and Rachel Martinez and husband Phil of Friona, 1 son-Jesse Morales Jr of Amarillo, 2 sisters-Vera Olvera and Ruperta Gonzales and husband Robert, all of Roscoe, Texas, 10 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
