Jimmy Grimsley, 66, of Friona, died Saturday October 31, 2015 in Friona. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday November 4, 2015 at the Sixth Street Church of Christ of Friona, with Jeff Procter, minster officiating. Burial following in Friona Cemetery by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona. Jimmy was born on June 22, 1949 in Amherst, to Wyndol David and Ileta Uldene Bomar Grimsley. He was a long time Parmer County farmer, and he was a member of the Sixth Street Church of Christ. He enjoyed woodworking, guns, fishing, hunting, grilling, spending time with family, his dog and playing the guitar. He is survived his parents, 2 daughters: Holly Davila of Lubbock, Poppy Stokes and Husband Rob of Wylie, 2 sons: Kyle Grimsley and wife Kiley of Dalhart, Cody Grimsley and wife Erin of Friona, 1 brother: Jayson Grimsley and wife Jyl of Friona, 6 grandchildren: Nicholas, Emma, Kash, Kross, Connor, and Cannon.
