Jimmy D. Putman, 73 of Friona passed away November 11, 2020 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Viewing will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 17, 2020 in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of HANSARD FAMILY with Celebration of Life Services scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Friona Cemetery in Friona with Rev. Gary Johnson, officiating. Burial following by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Jimmy was born August 12, 1947 in Muse, Oklahoma to Delbert Denton and Christiane Tissure Putman. He loved working on the family farm with his dad and was great with farm machinery. He was a hard worker that was very easy to love because of his caring heart.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, wife Sally Putman, 1 brother Daniel Putman, and 1 sister-Rose Mary Putman.

Family that will miss Jimmy include his mom Christiane of Friona, 2 sisters-Nancy Jackson of Friona and Shirley Webb of Clovis, sister-in-law Carmen Putman of Friona and several nieces and nephews.
