Jose Rodriguez Carreras, 57 of Friona passed away December 10, 2021 in Friona. Viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Friday, December 17, 2021 in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of HANSARD FAMILY. Burial will be at a later date in San Martin, Michoacán, Mexico. Jose loved to play and watch baseball, and liked going to jaripeos when in his hometown. He wouldn't hesitate to help others, that is how he ended up in Friona. In Friona, he loved to go feed the ducks at Reeve Lake and was devoted to Christ at the Friona Para Cristo Church

Survivors include his mother Maria Trinidad Carreras Saldaña, 2 sisters-Rosalba Rodriguez, and Elida Rodriguez, and a nephew Mauricio Rojas.
