Friona, Texas Jose L. Trevino, 86 of Friona died Saturday September 22, 2012 in Friona. Funeral Services have been scheduled for 10:30A.M. Tuesday September 25, 2012 at the Templo Bautista Church in Friona with Rev. Rudy Trevino of San Antonio, officiating. Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona. Mr. Trevino was born March 19, 1926 in Mexico to Juan and Antonia Lucio Trevino. He married Esperanza Gonzales August 12, 1944 in Mexico. He loved the sport of pro wrestling, and all kinds of animals. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, 5 children, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include- 7 sons: Juan Ramon Trevino and Jose Luis Trevino of Friona, Rudy Trevino of San Antonio, Jesse Trevino of Clovis, Frankie Trevino of Amarillo, Bennie Trevino of Belton and Bernie Trevino of Austin; nine daughters, Esperanza Herrera, Petra Ramirez and Maria Trevino all of Friona, Tomasita Reyes of Midland, Armandina Benavides and Alice Portillo both of Amarillo, Janie Trevino of Albuquerque, NM. Marta Logan of Ft. Morgan, CO.; Margaret Torres of Hereford; two brothers, Pedro and Juan Trevino both of San Antonio and two sisters, Juanita Herrera of Weslaco and Maria Huerta of San Antonio. 41 Grandchildren; 71 Great Grandchildren and 20 Great-Great Grandchildren He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Esperanza Trevino; five children; two brothers and one sister.
