Jose Zamudio, 56 of Friona passed away December 30, 2021 in Friona. Viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday, January 3, 2022 at Friona Para Cristo Llamados A Conocerle  in Friona with Celebration of Life Services at the church beginning at 2:30 PM on January 4, 2022 with Pastor Aurelio Silva, officiating. Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Jose was born November 22, 1965 in Sinalo, Mexico to Juan and Artemisa Medina Olivas Zamudio. He later married Judith Reyes June of 1994. He was an employee at Cargill Meat Solutions for several years until health issues forced him to retire.

He loved to make people laugh telling jokes and stories and always put others ahead of himself. He loved being a dad and grandpa.

He is preceded in death by his mother Artemisa Zamudio and 1 sister-Enriqueta Zamudio.

Those to mourn his passing include his father Juan Zamudio of Mexico, wife-Judith Zamudio, 2 sons Jose and Zeus Zamudio, 1 daughter-Denise Zamudio, all of Friona, 3 brothers Juan, Manuel and Gilardo Zamudio, all of Mexico, 3 sisters- Mireya and Gloria Zamudio of Mexico, and Maribel Zamudio of Fresno, California, and 6 grandchildren.
