Josefina Viernes Camarillo, 40 of Bovina died November 22, 2017 in Bovina. Celebration of Life Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Bovina Cemetery in Bovina with Lorenzo Camacho of Hobbs, N.M., officiating. Burial following in the Bovina Cemetery by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona.

Josefina was born March 10, 1977 in Muleshoe, Texas to Tiburcio and Bacilia Bironche Viernes. Besides Bovina, she had lived in Alice and Corpus Christ, Texas and San Diego, California. During that time she became very proficient in the field of accounting from bank teller and loan officer to accounting executive for several firms.

She loved to spend time with her family, especially her boys, shopping, traveling and music.

She is preceded in death by a niece-Angelita Viernes.

Survivors include:  her husband- Abel Camarillo, 2 sons-Christian Camarillo and Gabriel Camarillo, and her parents Tiburcio and Bacilia Viernes, 1 brother Fabian Viernes, all of Bovina, 3 sisters- Isable Balli of Texico, Noemi Jaquez of Seminole and Rebeca Viernes of Hereford, nephews-Erik, Diego, Alek, Kaleb Balli of Texico and Fabian Viernes Jr. of Bovina, nieces-Brisa Viernes of Bovina, Stephanie and Avah Ramirez of Hereford.
