Juana Castillo, 76 of Dalhart, formerly of Bovina/Friona passed away March 23, 2022 in Midland. Viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of HANSARD FAMILY. Cremation and arrangements by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Juana was born July 21, 1945 in Durango, Durango, Mexico to Isidro and Maria De La Luz Alamos Castillo. She was known as a very independent, simple, hard-working person that was blunt and to the point. She loved her family and was a great caregiver and cook. She loved her fried chicken, M & M's, and donuts.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband-Pedro Castillo Estrada, 2 daughters, 1 son, 3 brothers and 1 sister

Those to carry on her legacy include 3 daughters-Martha Castillo and Patsy Castillo of Friona, and Julia Silva Castillo of Dalhart, 2 sons-Pedro Castillo of Midland, and Jesus Castillo of Mexico, 3 sisters-Martha Zamora, Cristina Castillo, and Carmen Castillo, all of Mexico, 24 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
