Kathleen Alma "Dugan" Butler, 101 of Friona passed away August 3, 2018 in Friona. Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday August 13, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Friona with Rev. Brett Hoyle, pastor, officiating. Service and cremation arrangements by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Dugan was born August 17, 1916 in Lubbock to Milton L. and Mary Isiah Stoker Hardy. She later married Joe Butler on August 4, 1937 in Clovis. She resided in Montana where they had a cherry farm, also in Dimmitt, Ruidoso, N.M. and Friona.

She was a member of the High Plains Ladies Golf Association and various bridge clubs. She was a wonderful artist painting on plates and milk cans. She loved to cook, travel and antiquing.

Dugan is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son-Jimmy Jack Butler, 1 brother-Pat Hardy, 2 sisters-Jo Wood, and Johnnie Boothe.

Those to carry on her legacy include 1 son-Joe Bill Butler and wife Soy of Montgomery, Texas, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2-great-great-grandhchildren, 1 niece and 2 nephews.
