Leon Saddler 55, of Bovina died Monday March 26, 2012 in Friona. Memorial Services have been scheduled for 10:00A.M. Friday March 30, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Bovina. Parmer County Sherriff Randy Geries and Rev. Brian Mullins, pastor, officiating. Arrangements by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona. Leon was born February 14, 1957 in Lubbock, Texas to Andy and Mary Rudell Renfro Saddler. He married Karen Elois Campbell May 28, 1976 in Lubbock. He worked in the law enforcement profession for 26 years, and taught Criminal Justice for the Bovina I.S. D. He is preceded in death by his father. Survivors include: his wife Karen of Bovina, 1 son- Derrick Saddler and wife Rachel of Bovina, 1 daughter-Karen Schlenker and husband John of the Rhea Community, his mother Mary Rudell Saddler,2 sisters- Karon Campbell and Betty Dillon all of Lubbock, 3 Grandchildren-Ashley, Austin and Rebecca and 2 adopted grandchildren Mya and Gabe.
