Leslie "Les" Gamble, 59, of Friona passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 in Hereford. Graveside services will be Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Friona Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Pastor Sam Rando officiating with Genesis Church in Hereford. Les was born September 9, 1952 in Dalhart, Texas to Pat White. He was raised in Dalhart as a child. He married Virginia Alene Wilkerson in 1994 in Friona. He and his wife moved to Amarillo for a few years then to Friona. He was a resident of Friona for about thirty years. He loved to work with his hands; he was a good carpenter and electrician. He loved guns, food and going out and socializing with friends. He was a good natured man. He is survived by his wife, Alene Gamble of Friona, a brother Terry Gamble and a sister Kelly Grantham both of Amarillo. Two Sisters-in-law Geneva Bentley of Hub and Dorothy Benson of Savannah, Tennessee; and two brothers-in-law; Rayford and Kenneth Wilkerson both of Friona.
