Linda Straw, 84, passed away April 25, 2026 in Friona.  Celebration of Life Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday May 2, 2026 in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Gerall Wyly, officiating. Inurnment at 1:00 PM at the Olton Cemetery in Olton entrusted to HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona. 

 Linda was born May 26, 1941 in Palmdale, California to Edward Garth and Fannie Pauline Hall Clark. She later married Jack Straw June 14, 1959 in Olton. After moving to Friona, she was office manager for Herring Implement for 25 years. She loved quilting, knitting, crocheting, needlepointing, and baking, especially Christmas candy. She was a member of the Ladies Golf Association of Farwell. 

 She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Fannie Clark. 

 Those that mourn her passing include her husband-Jack Straw of Friona, 3 sons- Roye Straw of Ruidoso, N.M., Rod Straw of Eastland, Scot Straw and wife Johna of Odessa, 2 sisters-Sammie Blades of Breckenridge, and Sally Finney of Casper, Wyoming, 2 grandchildren-Dylan Straw and wife Shannon of Venus, Texas, and Jaxon Straw and wife Ashlyn of Lewisville, Texas, 2 great-grandchildren-Jude Straw and Sybil Straw.
