Lisa Guerra 56 of Lubbock passed away in Lubbock January 10, 2022. Celebration of Life Services have been scheduled for 11:00 AM Monday, January 17, 2022 in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of HANSARD FAMILY with Rev. Larry Mitchell, officiating. Masks are highly encouraged.  Cremation and arrangements by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Lisa was born December 16, 1965 in Muleshoe to Jose A. and Lupe Perez Guerra. She has been employed by University Medical Center in Lubbock for 18 years. Lisa loved sports, Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys or any sport being played by grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She loved to make tamales and tortillas, all the while watching her soaps and novellas. Lisa loved to laugh and smile and was known as having a unique soul.

She is preceded in death by her father- Jose A Guerra Sr., 2 brothers- Alex Guerra and Jose A Guerra Jr.

Those that will mourn Lisa's passing include her mother- Lupe Guerra of Hereford, 2 daughters-Alexis Barboza and Kevin Mitchell of Bovina, and Alicia Gomez and Angel Nieves of Lubbock, 4 sisters-Angie Gomez of Bovina, Rachel Guerra of Lubbock, Francis Peña and husband Jaime of Amarillo, and Christina Rico and Johnny Peña of Hereford, 1 brother- Daniel Guerra of Friona, Lisa's boyfriend Felix Guzman of Abernathy, and 9 grandchildren.
