Marcus Joel Vargas, 30 of Littlefield, formerly of Friona passed away February 23, 2025 in Littlefield. Viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM with Celebration of Life Services set for 10:00 AM Wednesday March 5, 2025 in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Jason Daniels, officiating. Cremation arrangements in the personal care of HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Marcus graduated from Friona High School in 2013 and went on to Cosmetology School. He was known for his kindness and fun spirit. He lived his 30 years to the fullest, never meeting a stranger, always making people laugh, including his family, whom he dearly loved. He enjoyed dancing and was a jokester and friend to everyone. To know Marcus was to love Marcus. He was a "blast in a glass!"

He is preceded in death by grandfather- Chon Vargas and grandmother- Delmira Bautista, nephews-Adriel and Joe Angel Vasquez.

Those remaining to mourn his passing include his mother-Geneva Torres and husband Adam Galan of Littlefield, father-Ascenscion Vargas Jr. of Dimmitt, 2 sisters-Sabrina Vargas and Jose Gonzalez of Friona, and Brianna Vargas and Jose Rocha of Bovina, grandmother-Sanida Vargas of Dimmitt, aunts-Norma Torres and Yolanda Snyder, both of Friona, nephew-Cameron Vargas and niece-Kaymbree Vazquez of Friona.
