Margaret Parsons, 90 of Friona passed away June 24, 2020 in Friona. Viewing will be from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, June 25, 2020 in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home with Celebration of Life Graveside Services scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 26, 2020 at Terrace Cemetery in Post, Texas with family officiating. Burial following by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Margaret was born August 6, 1929 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Jones Oscar and Madel Catherine Henning Aday. Later in life she married Percy Parsons February 13, 1949 in Post. Together they served hundreds of families in many communities in funeral service.
Margaret's servant heart also led her to great generosity as she enjoyed cooking, baking and caring for others.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son-Mike Parsons, 1 sister-Florene Vaughn and 1 brother-Quentin Aday.

Those to carry on her legacy include 1 son- Dale Parsons and wife Amal of Dallas, 1 daughter Rhonda Murphree and husband Jim of Friona, 1 daughter-in-law- J Carol Parsons of Costa Rica, grandchildren- Blair and Erin Parsons and Michael and Ashley Parsons, all of Austin, Adam Parsons of Ft. Worth, Adrian and Andrew Pritchett of Aledo, Evan Parsons of Dallas, Amy and Steve Smith of Gun Barrel City, Brenda and Landon Turrubiarte of Denton, Staci and TJ Brantley of Anna, Anna Murphree of Dallas, Maddie and Jarad Flores of Farwell and Seth Murphree of Canyon, and 14 great-grandchildren.
