Mark Alan Neill, 62, lifelong Friona resident passed away August 22, 2021 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Thursday, August 26, 2021 in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of HANSARD FAMILY with Celebration of Life Services set for 10:00 AM Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Friona United Methodist Church in Friona with Rev. Skip Hodges, and Rev. Don Boren, officiating. Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Mark was born July 17, 1959 in Friona to Kenneth Weir and Lesta Lee Sharpe Neill. He graduated from Friona High School in 1977 and attended Panhandle State University and then West Texas State University. He married Lisa Brockman on March 26, 1982 in Friona.

He was a faithful employee of Cargill Meat Solutions in Friona for 39 years. He loved spending time with his family, especially outdoors, traveling in his RV, and sports of all kinds. He was a member of the Friona United Methodist Church.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, and 2 sisters-Susan Baker, and LeAnn Neill.

Those to carry on his legacy include his wife Lisa of Friona, 2 sons-Tyson Neill and wife Kiri of Happy, and Corbin Neill and wife Becky of Medina, 1 daughter-Lindsey Beyers and husband Adam of Vernon, 2 sisters-Cheryl Neill Weatherly of McKinney, and Becky Dunn and husband Cayce of Lake St. Louis, MO., 1 brother-Mike Neill and wife Kristi of Bushland, grandchildren-Trapper Neill, Brynlee Beyers, Archer Neill, Sophee Beyers, Lillee Beyers, Weston Neill and Carson Beyers.
