Mary Lee Talley 87 of Friona, formerly of Carlsbad, N.M. died Thursday August 30, 2012 in Friona. Memorial services will be held at a later date. All arrangements by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home in Friona. Mrs. Talley was born November 4, 1924 in Weatherford, Texas to Charles Jefferson and Lois Carman Robinson Petross. She married Willie Alton Talley December 21, 1940 in Carrizozo, New Mexico. She was a loving wife and mother and a member of the Sixth St. Church of Christ in Friona. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and a daughter-in-law. Survivors include 2 sons-Tim Talley of Tanzania, Africa, T. Leon Talley of Friona, 3 daughters-Sharon Settle of Edmondson, Texas, Charlene Brown of Hagerman, N.M. and Norma Banning of Wichita, Kansas, 2 brothers-Eddie Lavelle Petross of Kennewick, Washington, and Charles Neal Petross of Fredericksburg, Virginia, 13 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren.
