Mickey Ramón, 68 of Bovina passed away September 10, 2024 in Lubbock. Viewing will be held from 3:00PM to 8:00PM with Rosary Services at 6:00PM Sunday September 15, 2024 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bovina with Mass of Christian Burial Services scheduled for 11:00AM Monday September 16, 2024 also at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bovina with Father Jose Gomez as Celebrant. Burial following in the Bovina Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Mickey was born May 8, 1956 in Littlefield, Texas to Catarino and Irene Peña Ramón. He later married Yolanda Serna March 12, 1975 in Bovina.  He was a very quiet and observant, hardworking truck driver and mechanic. He loved playing with his grandchildren, watching wrestling on TV and had an amazing John Deere toy collection.

He is preceded in death by his parents- Catarino and Irene, 2 brothers-Jesse and Anthony Ramón and a sister Annette Ramón.

Those remaining to cherish his memories include his wife Yolanda Ramón of Bovina, 1 daughter Melinda Timms and husband Terry of Abernathy, 1 son- Miguel Ramón and wife Marisa of Bovina, 1 brother-Ralph Ramón of Mission, Texas, 1 sister-Miroslava Robledo of Amarillo, 7 grandchildren- Kolton, Tanner, Katie and Addie Timms, Jasmine, Elvis, and Ava (Eva Lou) Ramón, and numerous nieces and nephews.
