Mona Faye Sharrock, 85 of Friona passed away February 8, 2024 in Friona. Viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM with family visitation at 6:00PM in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of the funeral home on Monday, February 12, 2024 with Celebration of Life Services set for 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the Sixth St. Church of Christ of Friona with Jeff Procter, officiating. Private burial will follow in the Friona Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Mona was born December 25, 1938 in Petrolia, Texas to Luther R. and Essie L. Wilcoxen Hall. She later married Troy Sharrock April 4, 1959 in Muleshoe. Mona was an active member in the Sixth St. Church of Christ where she taught Bible classes for many years. Her daily Bible reading began each day.  Before retiring, she had worked for Cablevision, State Farm Insurance and Parmer County Community Hospital. She loved her grandchildren and they will miss their "Nanabug". She has a strong love for flowers and gardening, and for all animals.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Essie, brothers-James, Eddie and Kenneth Hall, 1 sister-Mary Beavers, and 1 sister-in-law- Anita Hall and step-grandson-Will Sanders.

Those that mourn her passings include her husband Troy of Friona, 2 sons-Terry Sharrock and wife Casey of Friona, and Jeff Sharrock and wife Rene of Amarillo, 1 sister-Glenda Dale and husband Gary of Muleshoe, sister-in-law Beverly Hall of Friona, grandchildren-Megan Levario and husband John , Maddie Sharrock, and Savanna Newton.
