Nellie Kate Jackson, 77 of Friona died December 4, 2017 in Amarillo. Celebration of Life Services have been scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Friona Cemetery Memorial Chapel in Friona with Rev. James Brady of Dalhart, officiating. Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home in Friona.

Nellie was born May 22, 1940 in Groesbeck, Texas to Jimmy and Nellie Donnell Brady. She married James Huey Jackson March 5, 1957 in Clovis. She loved canning and cooking, playing dominoes, especially with her family whom she dearly loved.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son-Larry Jackson, 3 sisters-Edna Pearl Scott, Minnie Whiteside, and Della Mercer, 3 brothers-Charlie Brady, Jimmy Brady Jr. and Eugene Brady.

Survivors include- 2 daughters-Patricia Jackson, and Carol Jackson, 6 sons-Willie Jackson, Robert Jackson, Edward Jackson, Tony Jackson, Bobby Jackson and Billy Jackson, all of Friona, 2 brothers-James Brady of Dalhart and Willie Brady of Mineral Wells.

Viewing will be Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
