Neola Reed, 93 of Childress, formerly of Friona passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021 in Childress. Celebration of Life Graveside Services have been scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Friona Cemetery in Friona. Burial following by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Neola was born March 28, 1928 in Mooreland, Oklahoma to Charles and jane Million Ingraham. She later married T.J. Leo Reed July 27, 1944 in Clinton, Ok.

Neola was a long time Friona resident before moving to Amarillo, Quanah and Childress to be closer to family. For many years she worked for Allen's Jewelry and White's Auto in Friona, as well as drove trucks for area farmer hauling grain to elevators.  She also was quite a seamstress, sewing clothes for herself and her family.  While living in Friona, she was active in Calvary Baptist Church and the Friona Volunteer Fireman Auxiliary.

Neola is preceded in death by her parents and husband, 1 son-Duane Reed, 4 sisters-Verle Pedrotti, Mildred Gardner, Dorothy Bull, and Venita Patton, 6 brothers-Lewis, Charles, George, Walter, Robert and James Ingraham.

Those to carry on her legacy include 3 sons-Ronnie Reed and wife Claudia of Vernon, Jerald Reed and wife Dee of Logan, N.M., and Harold Reed and wife Rebecca of Quanah, 1 sister-Helen Holloway of Moreland, OK., 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
