Pearlie "Nana" Chisom, 67, of Bovina passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2012 in Muleshoe. Pearlie was born April 23, 1944 in Texarkana, Texas to A.D. and Annie Mae Atkins. She has been a resident of Bovina since 1960. She married Junior Earl Chisom on August 16, 1963. She was a nurse's aide in Muleshoe and Farwell, but most recent she was a Customer Service Manager at Wal-Mart in Clovis, New Mexico for 8 years. Most important she was a wonderful mother, wife and Nana. She enjoyed playing music, cleaning and cooking and she loved Wal-Mart. She is survived by her husband Junior Earl "Tiny" Chisom of Bovina; three daughters, Devilan Chisom, Melissa Walker and Tonia Robinson all of Bovina; one sister Ola Chisom of Greenville, Texas; two brothers, Ollie Atkins of Odessa and Felton Atkins of Farmersville, Texas. Four grandchildren; Raymond Chisom of Clovis, N.M.; Jonathan Chisom, Desmond Fox and Darien Walker all of Bovina; one Great Grandchild, Malayha Rayburn of Clovis, N.M., and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Quinton Walker.
