Ramon H. Ramos, 82 of Friona passed away August 21, 2018 in Friona. Mass of Christian Burial Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 24, 2018 at St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Friona with Father Nestor Lara as Celebrant. Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Ramon was born August 31, 1935 in Harlingen, Texas to Eusebio and Francisca Hernandez Ramos. He later married Lorenza Perez December 12, 1956 in Olmito, Texas.

He worked in the maintenance department of Friona Industries for 30 years. He also was an area farmer.

He loved woodworking in his shop and playing the guitar.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, 1 son-Randy Ramos, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Those to carry on his legacy include 5 sons-Roy Ramos and wife Becky and Raymond Ramos Jr. of Friona, Ramiro Ramos and Rudy Ramos of Hereford, and Rene Ramos of Andrews, 1 daughter-Lucy Ramos of Friona, 1 brother-Antonio Ramos of California, 1 sister-Teresa Perez of Lubbock, 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
